I hope that you all will indulge me for a few minutes here. :)

Keith got a new camcorder for his birthday. So I recorded him playing a couple of songs on the piano today. Thought I'd share them with you if you have a minute.

The second one is a song that he wrote himself. The first one is Through the Fire and Flames. That's the last song on Guitar Hero. He played it on the game. Then decided that he could play it on piano, too. So he sat down at the keyboard and just played it! I personally think he's playing it wayyyy too fast. But he says that this is the way it goes. Go figure! It's a kid thing.

By the way, Keith just turned 15. I really want to get him back into piano lessons again. He's had a couple of years off now.

Thanks, Renda. I agree. I like his song the best. But he's having a great time playing the other one right now. I figure that one is a phase that'll die out. Soon I hope. I'm pretty proud of him :)

He's very talented, Margie! This is the way Zac started - just sitting down and playing the guitar and keyboard and he could just hear the stuff and play it. I was amazed, because I've played for years but it's all analytical with me - thinking of chord progressions, etc. With him, it just flows out.
