Re: Move of GOD

I relate "great move" to numbers blessed. Sometimes one or two people in a service will obviously get a powerful touch from God. (usually about something they have been praying for, an answer or healing) But when God blesses the most or seemingly all of the congregation then I call that a great move of God.

Pentecostals are stuck in the "traditional church service!"

Their statement of "great move of God" interprets as many were blessed as God shewed himself mightily.

The problem is God always shews himself mightily, but Pentecostals confine His power to only church building.

Have you ever heard a Pentecostal state "God moved in a mighty way," while they were at work or grocery shopping?

The disciples fell into this trap themselves until persecution came, then were the disciples scattered throughout the land. The disciples believed, as many modern day Pentecostals do now, that God power is only located in a geographical location, when in actuality He's located in your relationship with Him. It's for this reason many are defeated!

I would apply it to events in which many people are prompted to change (in a more godly direction) and/or when many people are converted.

Yes, as a matter of fact my friend recieved the baptizm of the Holy Ghost in his car going to work.

OA had a move of God the other night at home while listening to my show.

Not sure how this relates to the question being asked.

I think if you have ever been in a service where the power of God moved you wouldn't need to ask the question. :):gotcha

I believe your comment above is an insult toward Arphaxad, as you're suggesting Ichabod within his church.

May I kindly insult you :D by stating if you had a deeper relationship with God, knowledge would interpret that God doesn't move within a service, but that He presents Himself. It's our faith and response that allows his promises to manifest themselves!
