US Airways Jet crashed into the Hudson
 

146 passengers on board. Both engines went out after flying through a flock of birds.

No passengers are left in the plane according to the divers.

Meaning, they all seem to have gotten off ok. :)

I had to go look this up to figure out what it meant. lol

They are not saying yet, I don't think they know. But the divers are saying none are IN the plane.

The news report says they were told to take off their shoes and coats, put on the inflatable vest and exit onto the wings.

It sounds like there were no injuries but they aren't saying for sure yet.

But the water is freezing.

I'm watching cnn right now, and they're not saying...but it seems everyone made it off, and that if there are injuries they're pretty mild. But, those are not official statements, just speculation by the news and passengers who were on board.

I bounced around a few different stations. None will commit to injuries etc.

But the ones they have seen seem ok.

The wonder of living in the information age. lol It's too soon for them to even know if anyone's injured, or how badly they are. But, here we sit watching/reading and talking about it already. lol

Passenger told NBC all the passengers got off without any problems. A few went into the water. But sounds like most did not.

Said everyone was orderly on the plane. In fact, the guy they talked to was scheduled to fly on another plane and his flight got canceled. ;)

LOL!!! I asked a pilot about birds one time and he said no way would they crash a current plane and nothing to worry about. Matter of fact I think he was with US airways. As I fly them or Delta.

lol True. And listen to the media hustling for information.

My Mom heard only one minor injury to a crew member that got cut on something.

I bet someone on that plane was doing some praying.
