Denim skirts out of blue jeans at UPC seminar

I just went to a 2 day mini conference held at a UPC church.

One of the break out sessions was "how to make jean skirts out of blue jeans"

I asked if it was a serious class and was assured that it was.

You thoughts?

Bless God, it's just like that lottery money.....the devil has used it long enough, it's time for God's people to get some use out of it too!:nutso

maybe it's just me...my wife has one or two denim skirts. I've never been a big fan.

I do not see any scripture to tell a women she can't wear pants.

But it blows my mind that the UC that demand dresses only on women will allow an article of clothing that argue is "pertaining to a man" to be cut and resewn in a different fassion and "Shazam" the "abomination" as they say, is gone.

I think we all know it's the dividing of the garment that is the issue.

Oh I may as well take it another step further.
Is it the Jean you're not a fan of, or the skirt?
Since many of my friends who are not of my Pentecostal persuasion love thier jeans and wear them as much as possible.

Oh okay, got it. I think you are kind of overreacting.

In a place I use to work at, the men would shake their head in disbelief at some of "our women" when they came in blue denim jean skirts and tennis shoes.

Someone would usally inform me that some bun ladies were on the floor and ask if I wanted to wait on them?
