Etiquette for signatures

Advice:

I have been experimenting with different animated pictures and love the current one, but I honestly want to know if it is driving people crazy because of its size -physical and/or file size.
I know others often post quite a few pictures in their sig line that take up a huge amount of screen space.

What do you think? Does mine need to be smaller? Or is it ok (size wise)? What about others? (Not looking for names, but I don't want to be annoying and too "in your face"..... Ok, maybe a bit "in your face" at times, but at least less annoying. :) )

I like it but think it should be about half as big.

I'm thinking that myself... and am going to try and change it. I really like it as well.

Note, I'm not asking about content so much as size -both in pixels and in total bytes. Content would be a whole nudder discussion.

Love the pic, smaller would be better as long as you can keep the clarity.

I'm always getting dissed because my file is too big. How do you get around that? In fact, the pic I have now is too big. How'd I do that?

Oh, BTW - "whatever" is my advice on yours. It is kind of huge. Maybe the bigger ones can be used but then cycled out a little more quickly than the smaller ones? Just a thought. Mine is annoying me.

I actually have all my pictures on photobucket.com and put the direct link to them here. Virtually everyone here is probably on broadband so the picture size (in bytes) isn't THAT big of a factor, I assume.

Some other ones I have used in the past:

You have to really stare at this one for a minute or two. Study the front door of the house carefully!

Made this one myself from my favorite Bugs Bunny cartoon. "One of you gents gots me a quarter so I can juice up the jukebox?"
