Jim Yohe Quote re Racism

"In the Spiritual realm, the red blood of Jesus reigns supreme over white guilt and black rage. I had blissfully thought that once we all worshiped together, all racial problems automatically disappeared. I was not guilty of closing doors to blacks, but I certainly wasn't trying to open any doors either. I stood indicted of apathy and indifference."

From "Confronting Racism"

I think racism is often confused with prejudice and bigotry.

There are probably a lot of reasons human beings turn their backs on one another. None of them are right.

"I certainly wasn't trying to open any doors either."

Should we go out of our way to 'open doors' or is this racism in a different form?

I do tend to think that it would be racism in a different form.
