lets hear some victory reports out here. since we have a lot of bad weather and were stuck at home..lets encourage each other. tell us how God has brought you through.

Stuck at home here too! That IS my testimony. I have been incredibly busy, 70-80 hours a week since Sept. 1, 2008 . While I have been blessed, I also needed a break. My schedule has eased up and I was glad to postpone the work for a few days.

In the last 6 months, our church has doubled, we baptized more than 25 souls, we saw a deaf girl receive the spirit last week, we did our vision Sunday that went very well.

I want to do away with our Sunday PM service, but we had 60 or more show up last week, 12 were visitors, so I need a word from God regarding what to do with it, I am tired (bi-vocational job)

We are primed and pumped to receive the wave that God is sending us.

sounds awsome brother. pls don't go to 1 service on sundays when i was searching years ago i went to churches and was disapointed that they had changed thier services to 1 only. there are people still out there who can only attend an evennig service and that holds them through the week.

God has been SO GOOD to me! So, so good.

He picked me up, He set me down in church, He provided opportunity after opportunity to know Him. He gently, tenderly, drew me to Himself and put up with all the fight I could muster. He orchestrated events, just little things really, but things I know were His doing. Little things I couldn't chalk up to coincidence. Through these, He finally convinced me that He loves me. He is so, so good.

God is more than good to me, and I'm so undeserving of His goodness and grace.

There are lots of things going on in my life right now, but my church attendance is picking up. I think I've been in more services in the last couple months than I have been in all last year.

My job requires me to work every other weekend, and since I work 12 hour shifts, that leaves only two services a month, as I work every Wednesday as well....or will once I'm off this orientation in a month. That makes it difficult to get closer to God, but if I knew of home meetings around me on other nights, I'd consider attending, but I don't know how to find them.

But God is true to His Word, even when I'm not. I'm thankful for His love, even when I'm unlovable.

Well, I see two things wrong with your post.

First, you don't get closer to God by attending church. You get closer to God by spending time with Him.

Secondly, I'm not sure we are ever unloveable. We may disappoint Him, but he loves us unconditionally.
