President Obama's Prayer B'fast Address
'There's no God who condones the taking of innocent life'
I'm paraphrasing here from a radio news piece. What's wrong with this statement? |
Re: President Obama's Prayer B'fast Address
.... unless it's a teeny baby."

Re: President Obama's Prayer B'fast Address
Well, teeny babies aren't technically "life" yet, so he can have a clear conscience, I suppose.
And, also, it depends on what the definition of "is", is. :coffee2 |
Re: President Obama's Prayer B'fast Address
you have to understand the mind of a modern American Liberal.
an Innocent life would be someone like a terrorist in Gitmo Cuba or a convicted murderer. a non-innocent life would be an elderly person who is terminally ill or a baby that has yet to be born... even in the 9th month of pregnancy. once you understand this it all becomes crystal clear! |

Doesn't the Koran command death to infidels or non believers?
Is a non believer automatically guilty? |

One of my favorite Rush quotes (disturbing as the mental image is) is "I know liberals like I know every square inch of my glorious naked body". |

Re: President Obama's Prayer B'fast Address
"Obama planned to sign an executive order later in the day creating the White House Office on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. It would expand and refocus the faith-based office founded by former President George W. Bush.
The president will also appoint Joshua DuBois, a 26-year-old Pentecostal minister who headed religious outreach for Obama's Senate office and later his campaign, to lead the partnerships office and name 25 religious and secular leaders to a new advisory board." Interesting. Reckon what kind of 'Pentecostal Minister' Rev DuBois is? |
Re: President Obama's Prayer B'fast Address
"...The most contentious issue that Mr. DuBois will have to help resolve is whether Mr. Obama should rescind a Bush administration legal memorandum that allows religious groups that receive government money to hire only those who share their faith.
Mr. Obama said in a campaign speech last June, “If you get a federal grant, you can’t use that grant money to proselytize to the people you help and you can’t discriminate against them — or against the people you hire — on the basis of their religion.” Mr. DuBois led an effort during the transition to consult with dozens of religious and charity groups about the work of the faith-based office, including what to do about the hiring question, and whether the faith-based centers that Mr. Bush inserted into 12 federal agencies should all be preserved...." --Source :coffee2 Very insidious, these little "outreach" programs. |
