Do you have to be important to be a praise singer!
 

Is it possible to not, be important, and just love the lord to be a praise singer in large churches. Seems like only barbie's make the list in the larger churches.

Don't got no "Barbies" on our praise team! :D They just love the Lord and can sing. Being able to sing (on key) is extremely important!

people are the ones who insist on being on key. A true heart of praise is always on key.

I agree with this, but the praise singers are to help "lead" the congregation and I think it's important that at least they carry a tune to do that!

If you can't carry a tune you probably don't need to make it into the microphone.

Some of the biggest blessings I have received came from people who sang unto the Lord off key. Because they were not singing to people, but to God. However they were not praise singers.
I use to be a praise singer.

Five questions:

1. Are you faithful?
2. Can you actually sing?
3. Have you ever participated in actual "work" in the church that didn't include face time?
4. Are you loyal to the vision and leadership of your church?
5. Are your motives pure?
