A lady in our church's apartment burnt last night. She lost everything.

She is a single mother to 9 kids--3 live together and work/go to college....but she still had 6 at home and now they are literally homeless. She lives on meager wages but never asks for a thing.

They have had so much thrown their way and have always stood strong but Im afraid this may be enough to dicourage them greatly.

Please keep this family in your prayers...

How sad! Is there help available for her in your area? I'll pray that God will send angels her way to help her out.

The red cross has helped some. Our church is small but we are doing as much as we can.

It has been horrible for the kids today...they are all preteens/teens and they went to school in their church clothes from last night. They were made fun of so much that they called to be picked up from school.


they have applied for housing near the church--in a GOOD school district. So many doors have closed for them because of the size of their family but now they seem to be opening up! God knows!

Such a sad situation.

Why would their church clothes cause them to be made fun of at school?
