We raised 3 boys from youth to 19,20 and 21yr old with NO TV. My family and friends told us, They will not be able to experience the real world, and also they will be dumb, and will not learn the things we need to know.


Our boys are enjoyed where ever we go, they talk to older people, they are amazed of there know how. Everywhere we go, people try to hire them for jobs, without them even asking for work.

Seems the throng of teens with Tattoos and body piercings turns them off, and when they see clean cut, and respectful boys, it is a difference anyone notices.

Even though our boys are adults now, they have no desire to leave home and do their thing. They are welcome to leave, but choose not to. All their life they did many things. Most kids get 100s of hours per week of TV, ours did not, so they did things like build club houses,I learned them to weld and do wood work. They made long fork chopper bikes, there freinds were impressed.

They learned to make projects like, raising a garden, and making home made cheeze, yogourt.

One of my sons made his own steam engine from briggs engine by welding a extra cam lope on and making it 2 stroke, making small boiler and mounting it on a old speedex tractor, it runs on wood steam.

The last project the boys did was run there truck on wood gas. He made a wood burning gasifer and mounted it on a old dodge truck. it runs without gas, he even took off the gas tank so no one could say he cheated. when we drove it to town people could not belive it, because they did not see it on TV, they though it could not be done.

Cars running on wood gas, is not new, it was done in WW2 all over the world. The reason it is no used now, it would offend the greenies. Now at 21, one son owns 320 acres of land in wyoming and is design cnc operator, at 20 one son owns 14 classic cars he collected and traded for over the years and restores and sell them, and at 19 our youngest son, owns one car,does CNC plasma design, wants to buy his grandpa a new John deere riding lawn mower soon and is studying to Design and build Bible video games for children.

All their goals they have, they also built us a new House, they are finishing it up now. 40x50 , with our 21yr old also installed a complete geothermal system with 8 geoloops 260ft deep holes and 2- 4 ton units. We got a quote for new Goe thermal system of 42,000.00. our boys did it for 7100.00.
we now have a/c and heat with a cost of less then 45 bucks a month.


Putting your kids infront of the TV for 18 yrs, it like setting a rattle snake in front of them. I hear peple say,Yes, but there are good things on the TV .
I would say, there are still lots of good hamburgers in MCdonalds dumpster too, do you want one.

What % of hollywood is christain?
what % of hollywood is truth?

If it feeds the flesh, people will make a case to protect it.

Even good TV shows have R rated or worse commercials.

The TV does everything for you, it only needs a empty vessel to stare at it for hours.

How many lost hours of production do we loose watchng it.?
With no TV time, wood the house get fixed up then.

Would you watch , IN PERSON someone kill another person with a AXE .
why would you watch killing, murder, and sex abuse, and call it entertainment and instuctional?

Set no thing evil before your eyes, the Bible says.

Is TV holy, or clean, the people who make millions per yr, from TV, do they support Christain values and make the USA a better place?.

Now, no one anymore even uses a dinner table at home, people just eat in front of the TV like drones, and if anyone wants to share the life of the day, it is a interruption of a TV show, that is just a rerun anyway.

Please justify TV, why it is holy, and helps improve you life.

Also tell me why, even the facts, you will still hold on the TV?
