Freeze Dried Foods
Here is a link to a web site where they sell "freeze dried foods" stuff that will keep for years & can be used in an emergency such as a devastating hurricane,
earthquake, or just a general economic collapse. The Bible is rife with the wisdom of animals storing up food for the upcoming winter. We could learn a thing or two from them.:thumbsup http://www.freezedryguy.com/ |
Re: Freeze Dried Foods
I have tried some of the MRE meals the military has. They are surprisingly tasty!

Re: Freeze Dried Foods
How do you prepare the meat? Just warm it up and eat?

Pork chops are raw and only need to be cooked for about 45 seconds per side. Chicken is precooked. Just add hot water, wait 5 - 10 minutes and presto, fresh, cooked chicken. Cottage Cheese is made creamy by adding cold water. Wait 20-30 minutes and it is ready to serve. Cook Dehydrated Eggs in your favorite omelette or enjoy scrambled. These eggs are the finest dehydrated egg I have ever eaten and they work very well in baked goods too. |
