Need help for a class again...
 

Hello all my old friends...
I am sorry that I haven't been on here much, but a full-time family, a job, and full course load at school has kept me away...

I need to write a paper and I need some help... here is the assignment;

Watch a film or television show that portrays organizational life. Describe the organization in full; it’s strengths, weaknesses, and whether or not you agree with how the organization operates and the style of communication presented (based on the topics we’ve covered). Include a biblical perspective in your three-page critique.

I realize that MOST of you don't watch TV or movies :ursofunny but in case you do, could you weigh in???

There is an old movie from 1950, called Cheaper by The Dozen. It is about a real family with like 12 children. It is based on the real life of Frank Gilbreth who was an efficiency expert, and how he used this in his home life. It's a nice wholesome comedy.( just make sure it's the original, not the remake.) It is also a book. You can find info. on it at Turner Classic Movies.

I was thinking that The Office would be a perfect show, or even going back a few decades, the series TAXI (the one with Danny DeVito).

(If you want to stick with television shows. But come to think of it, I would be willing to bet that more than one student will use The Office already, so better not.........)

Just as an update... I chose to use "the Village" as suggested by Hoover.
It was a very interesting paper, only 3 pages long.

I did think for a long time about it... If you had the opportunity, would you choose to do what they did in the movie?
