Beloved, Now Are We The Children of GOD;

1 John 3:1-2 (New King James Version)

1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be
called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not
know Him.

2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we
shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall
see Him as He is.

Heb.2:10 KJV
For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing
many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through suffer-
ings.
Read Hebrews chapter 1.

God wanted many sons and daughters. The way to accomplish that was in and
through the Son, Jesus Christ.

Natural sons came through the first son, Adam and his woman.

Spiritual sons and daughters come through the second Son, Jesus Christ, (God
in flesh) and His wife, the church.

The "Word of God" in the beginning of a new creation, was sown in the earth.
That grain of wheat died and many have sprung up because of it. The Son finished
the work of the Father, in the earth, and went back to the Father. The Father,
(Spirit) could not do what the Son did, as the Father, but after the Son finished
the Father's work, he submitted to the Father. The Son was fixing to become A/The
FATHER. by inheritance.
But He first had to go back to the Father and submit the Sonship role and
began His role
as The/A Father.

The Son received an inheritance from His Father (Spirit) God gave His Son
the nations/heathen for an inheritance.

God SO LOVED the world that HE GAVE HIS only begotten Son that whosoever
would believe on Him would not perish but have everlasting life.

For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world
through Him might be saved.

The Son received the inheritance and finished the work to accomplish it.
WE are the JOY that was set before Him that He was willing to die on an
Cross. It was the only way to redeem His inheritance.

So Sis, got a question for you.

If we, through the new birth, are the children of Christ with his Bride the Church, then are we already married to Him?

"Beloved, NOW we are children of God...." I have always loved that. In spite of our imperfections, in spite of our times of weak faith...now...RIGHT NOW, God considers us His. Its not something we hope to be, or need to achieve to be, but, the moment we recieve Him, He gives us the power to become the sons of God!

We are the children of GOD, but to become His sons and daughters we had
to come through Christ Jesus. The way to God was through the RIVEN
SIDE of His Son. (sounds like a C-section). The God spoke to Abraham about
was Jesus Christ. God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto HIMSELF.

God was married to Israel but He divorced her. Who is that in the Ezekiel
who was dead (in trespasses and sins) but was going to be restored. Were
not we reconciled to GOD through the New Birth. Israel (God's wife,
Israel) was and is being restored through the New Covenant. IF sons and
daughters are being born of God, born from above, it appears God and Israel (His wife)
have reconciled. God hates divorce, you know!)

Just my thought, Bro. TJJJ.

Yes, Bro. OneAccord,

I love that and also the fact that:

1 John 3:1 (Amplified Bible)

1 SEE WHAT [an incredible] quality of love the Father has given (shown, bestowed on) us, that we should [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! Also that:
John 3:16 (Amplified Bible)

16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten ([a]unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

The more I learn about HIM, and know about HIM, the more I LOVE HIM.
WE love HIM because HE FIRST LOVED US and gave Himself for us. For you,
for me!

Hugs,

back. Would God ask someone to do that He would n't be willing to do HIM-
SELF. Would He ask Abraham to offer His only son without being willing to do
the same Himself!

Just my thoughts, Bro. TJJJ.

So is the Church Israel? Is that what you are saying?

And if the Church is Israel, and if the church is bearing sons and daughters by His Spirit, then how could the church just be engaged to Him? Would we not have to be married to Him already?

Just some thoughts.

I believe we are married to Him. For as many as have been baptized into
Christ have put on Christ. If we have His Name, we are HIS!
