Sis. Maxine Mahoney
http://www.chancellorfuneralhome.com...php?seqnum=365
When our eldest daughter, Glenna, attended TBC, Sis. Maxine Mahoney was (employed at Texas Bible College in Houston for 13 years), serving as Dietician and Ladies Dorm Supervisor. During this time she attended Life Tabernacle. Thought there might be some on the forum who remembered Sis. Mahoney. I met her when visiting our daughter. Lovely lady. Falla39 |
Re: Sis. Maxine Mahoney
Sister Mahoney was also my dorm matron 82-83 school year. Lord, we really kept her on her toes! Sneaking in after hours! Her finding us climbing over the wall. Us getting taken to Brother Ensey's office. I am sorry for the loss of Sister Mahoney to the Mahoney family.
I loved her most! Kelli |
Re: Sis. Maxine Mahoney
Didn't her son pastor for a short time in Natchez? Or at least wasn't he an assistant pastor in Natchez?

Re: Sis. Maxine Mahoney
Her picture looks familiar. I may have met her on one of my many trips to Natchez when I was a teen. She may have been visiting her son and his family. Now the son I remember well. In the mid '70's the church in Natchez was probably one of the nicest churches I had ever visited. Made lots of friends back then. Wish I could remember all their names and reconnect with them.

Re: Sis. Maxine Mahoney
Yes, her son was an assistant pastor in Natchez then became pastor when Bro. Triplett (another awesome man of God) passed away. He was an AWESOME pastor. Sis. Maxine Mahoney lived in Natchez while he pastored there - she was such a sweet lady.
