Baptisms in South Chicago

We have a good friend who pastors in Tinley Park, IL (ex-UPC) and they baptized 220 people in the past two weeks! I just wanted to share that great report because as far as I know, he's never on here. And yes, they were all baptized in Jesus' name, I'm sure.

No, the Willis guy is not a friend. I know who he is, but don't know him.

It's Pastor Jerry McQuay at Christian Life Center. That church has just exploded over the past few years!! Eddie is on his board, and in fact will be up there next week for his board meetings.

Wow....I wished I'd been in those services. I knew two Old Timers who used to preach in Chicago.....I believe one pastored there for a while. Oh, the stories they would tell. As a child, it used to scare me to death to visit my relatives in that big city.
