Ok, here's what I would like to do................

I can't go to the AFF Gathering (boohoo!!). But I'd love to see how it went and who was there, what fun they had, etc. And I'm sure that there are a whole lot more than me that feel that way - AMEN?

Ok, so here's my proposal: If those of you who attend the Gathering would be willing to email me the pictures you take (I don't care if it's alot, I can weed thru and keep the best that way), then I would be willing to put those pictures together in an official AFF DVD. I'd also like to go thru the pictures that have been posted on the forum here and add a number of them as well. I have an idea for some music to use. But if any of you are awesome singers and can make an MP3 file to send to me to use, I would also consider that. I typically use one song for every 20 pictures, so the more pictures you send me, the more songs I will need. I would also like to add captions identifying as many as possible. I will be very careful about that tho.

What I would like to do with this DVD after it is finished is to use it as a fund raiser for a project of Sis Alvear's choice in Brazil.

I charge $15 for each copy of a DVD I make for our local funeral home, so I'm hoping that you all will think that would be a fair price to charge for these. It would be the $15 plus shipping charges. I would keep the shipping charges to reimburse myself for the shipping costs, but I will donate the cost of the DVD and case and cover and my time. So the entire $15 would go towards Sis Alvear's project.

What do you think? Are any of you interested? You can be honest. Because if not enough are interested, then it wouldn't be worth taking the time to do this. But if enough are, then I think it would be a great way for us as a forum family to show our support to the Alvears.

By the way, if any of you would like to be included in the DVD, but are not able to attend the Gathering, I would also like it if you would email me pictures of yourself and any captions you want included.

I think it is a great idea! When I get back from my cruise and down load some new pictures, I will send them on to you! Thanks so much for this. I can't go to the get together either. Boo Hoo!

Prax, Prax, Prax............ I don't do DVD's only for funerals. I've done them for graduations, weddings, birthdays, births.... lots of fun things.

So are you in or what? Where's your picture to put in?
