if you can get admitted you may just be pput in a hall somewhere...if you are lucky you will have a bed...

I remember one of the ladies in the church where we were going (Cincinnati, Ohio) didn't have medical insurance. She didn't see a doctor during her pregnancy and when she went into labor she went to General Hospital to have her baby. They were unable to assign her a doctor and get her into a labor or delivery room and she had her baby in a hallway with no anesthetic. This was around the time when our children were born.
