Moslems and Mormons Similar!
 

Have you noticed that the Moslem faith and the Mormon faith are very similar in their false doctrines? Isn't it funny that the devil never thinks up new lies to tell, he just dresses up an old one and it is gobbled up whole by those who don't love truth!

Similarities

1- Both Joseph Smith and Mohammed claimed to be visited by an angel to receive a "New Doctrine"

2- Both received a "New Book". The quran and the book of mormon.

3- Both men were exalted as "Prophets" in the new religion, with having to believe those men are prophets being a foundation stone of that religion.

Example: Moslem mantra- There is no god but allah and mohammed is his prophet!

Mormon mantra- I believe that joseph smith was a prophet and I believe that the book of mormon is true!

4- Both are very militant and treat any outsiders as gentiles or heretics to be killed or taken advantage of!

5- Both want to rule the world and make that a part of their doctrine.

6- Both are false doctrine.

7- Both rely on force or pressure to keep their members!

If you quit the Mormon church and become something else, they still count you as a member.

Do both baptize in Jesus name?

Do they wish to destroy you if you aren't LDS.

Concerning baptism and the Mormons.

In their book of mormon, Joe Smith commanded to be baptized in Jesus name. If you ask some mormon missionaries what the plan of salvation is they will quote you Acts 2:38.

I will quote you the scriptures out of THEIR book regarding what Joe taught. I have to get my little brown book of moroni and post them later!

That was not the intent of the thread. The intent was to show and outline the similarities of the two religions.

Yes they are very similar in comparision.

Yes the LDS do apply extreme pressure in you are non-LDS. As far as killing, ever hear of Porter Rockwell? Ever hear of the Mountain Meadow Massacre? The Mormons are very militant against "gentiles" as they call us.

If you have never experienced living for a time in the rural parts of Utah, rough, rough, rough.

Do you realize that, in their teaching, they teach blood atonement? That means that if you do something against their law, you pay with your blood. Sounds like moslem shaira law to me!
