How to affix a "Mezuzzah" ?????
 

Many of you are aware of the Jewish Roots class I have taught in different countries. I just put this short video together demonstrating something that has been done by the Jews for centuries if not thousands of years. This shows me affixing a Mezuzzah to my office door. Most are affixed in the inside of the door frame, but I affixed mine to the front for aesthetic and practical reasons. If I get too much flack for it not being exactly "kosher" I'll re-affix it. :D

What is the purpose of you having a Mezuzzah?

Do you also wear a yarmulke?

kipa/kipot" is Hebrew and "yarmulke" is Yiddish if I am not mistaken.

The purpose? Because I want one on my office door. Good for conversation.

I wore one at the synagogue at Passover last month. I don't wear one unless I'm teaching about it.

I bought one of these door Mezuzzahs a while back, but never got around to putting it by my door. Now I want to go find it and put it up!
