Get used to it ... at least for the remainder of this BHO administration.

I think that ignoring without really ignoring NK is the perfect tactic to use on a leader who behaves like a spoiled brat.

... until the spoiled brat decides to throw a temper tantrum and nuke a US city or city of a US ally ... kaaa-bloooey! then, of course, the admin would find some way to blame it on the Bush admin or someone else.

You know, I just do not think that the leaders in NK intend to take it that far.

They have to realize that the consequences of such an action would be nothing less than wrath and fury.

Besides, even if they did intend to take it that far, our intelligence would determine that before it happens and we would take the necessary steps to thwart an attack like that.

Do you relaize just how many American troops, Army and Air Force, are stationed in South Korea?

Then you have relatively close Okinawa that has at least 5 bases full of U. S. Marines and the largest AFB in the Pacific...

Like a spoiled little kid, NK knows just how far to push the envelope.

They will back down.

A young man from our church is stationed on a Naval ship in that area. He contacted his family this morning who was working at the youth camp at our church, asking for a prayer covering for a mission his ship is about to undertake.

It's more serious than people may think.

Pray for our troops.

The Japanese were probably aware of the wrath and fury an attack on Pearl Harbor would create ... but that didn't stop them.

Our "intelligence" not only didn't work for Pearl Harbor ... but far more recent, seems our intelligence wasn't good enough to thwart 9/11 nor was it able to truly see whether or not Iraq possessed WMD's.

I wouldn't put too much confidence in our intelligence.

I understand somewhat the logic, but I'm afraid you ignore a spoiled brat long enough, and he will do something far more extreme to get your attention ... regardless the consequences ... and it's been well-documented how crazy the NK leader is.

I see our resident Neo-Con has showed up. I'm sure Dick Cheney, Don Rumsfeld, and Paul Wolfowitz would all agree with you 100%. When in doubt, let's go to war.
