A little known sports history fact.
 
The first testicular guard "Cup"
was used in Hockey in 1874 and
the first helmet was used in 1974.

















It took 100 years for men
to realize that the brain is
also important.

The argument could be made that the brain and the collective reproductive area could be equal in their importance.

In the state of Ohio we had a law passed some years ago that required helmets on motorcycle riders. There was enough opposition among the people to secure enough signatures on a petition to put an issue on the ballot to repeal the law. The law was repealed by a vote of the citizens of Ohio and a helmet is no longer required for someone to operate a motorcycle.
