I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Outta Here!

Has anyone seen this show?

One of the contestants were baptised by Stephen Baldwin (I think they said Stephen is a minister).

But the baptism was - 'I now baptize you in the name of the Father Son and Holy Ghost and in the Name of Jesus Christ'

Would this be a proper baptism in regard to the wording.
He used the Name of Jesus but he also used the titles Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

Here's the video: http://www.nbc.com/im-a-celebrity/vi...ldwin/1116723/

Do we have to qualify it now by NOT saying something? Do we have to avoid the wording of Scripture and NOT use the terms Father, Son, and HG.

My pastor in Oregon used that very wording.

I did not think that there was a problem with the titles of Father Son Holy Ghost but there are some that would really have a problem with uttering the titles for anything, especially for baptising.

I've been in more than one argument about using the titles for prayers and/or baptism - even if 'In Jesus Name' is quoted along side of it.

Most people (Oneness) consider it 'compromise'.

How so? It is in the bible. Those titles are in the bible.

I know, but they'd consider it compromising with the trinitarians.

I think it is reactionary. Dan Segraves use to tell us we should never be afraid of using terms we find in the Bible.

Jesus, prayed to his Father why shouldn't I?
