Air Condition system
 

I am going to have to buy a new air conditioning system. Any suggestions?

I currently have a Trane and the repairman is suggesting a Carrier, 4 Ton 14 Seer.

I am still in sticker shock of the price quote:sad

I have always heard that Trane makes the best, or at least is right there with the best. What sort of prices have you been seeing? We need to replace ours in about a year.

We currently have a Trane.

He works for Carrier and recommends the Carrier. He is my neighbors son and I believe he is being honest, but I also know he may not be paritial. :)

4 Ton 14 Seer with 10 year parts and labor...4950.00.
4 Ton 14 Seer with 5 year parts and labor...4450.00

I just got off the phone talking to another guy who comes highly recommended and put a unit in the house I sold, and he is going to check his prices and get back to me. He is selling Payne's which he said is made by Carrier.
