Yippie! Bachelor for a week

Aaaah, the wife and daughter have gone off to Charlotte for a week for a niece's wedding. I don't get to because of work obligations but that leaves the weekend and Monday.

What to do What to do....

Re: Yippie! Bachelor for a week

some suggestions:

Pray for her while she's gone

Have the house all cleaned up spic and span when she comes home

Get all the laundry caught up

Catch up on some of those "honey do" jobs she's been nagging about

Buy her something she's been wanting and have it there where she can see it as a surprise for her when she gets back

Give her a big hug and squeeze and sloppy passionate kiss when she arrives and tell her that you missed her and you're glad she's home

Just watch, within a few hours you'll be like Rob Petri throwing playing cards into a hat. Then you'll get REAL bored and call up an old friend you haven't seen in years. To make a long story short, when your wife returns she'll be bailing you out of jail....

That's a given

That would give her a heart attack

Already is, I do my own anyhow.

She doesn't nag me on that stuff so much

Bought her a new living room suit -- sofa, loveseat, tables, lamps etc two weeks ago.. That is it til Christmas.

Then I would have to listen to the "EEEEeeeeew!" from my daughter.

*Memo to me: pick up a deck of cards on the way home.*

Thanks RW!

Yes, but it's very good for kids to see [appropriate] affection, even if they have the "EW" response. :thumbsup

Drive to Portland. Morton Bustard is preaching Saturday night and Sunday morning before he goes north to the Maine Camp Meeting near Bangor.

And you can do what this person did but don't skip going to DiMillos because of the wait. My son and daughter work there. Ask for Dan or Jessica.

You didn't put "Vegas baby!" as an option!

Don't have the gas or time... besides, for me it would be "Atlantic City baby!" Or Foxwoods, but that is no fun because it is five minutes away.

Did entertain the possibility of spending Saturday kicking around Manhattan...
