Is it wrong to shave...

...a cat?

My central air cannot keep up with the extreme temps we are having here, so at this moment, it's 87 in my house, 93 outside, I have ceiling and floor fans running, a large dehumidifier on, and the central air has been on non-stop!!

At night, it gets cooler. For instance, at 9 this morning, it was 79 in here. The other day morning at 8, I come home to 73 degrees, but by 2pm, it was 84.

This house isn't well insulated. I had the same problems during the winter but with cold instead of heat. We roasted in the bedrooms, but the main part of the house was freezing.

Where does the cat come in? Well, I have four, and they are just laying around in front of fans. They don't even have the energy to play with the laser light! LOL!

Thankfully, I'm moving in less than a month. I have to. The owners were foreclosed on and a sheriff's sale was held on June 17th, meaning I have about 30 days to get out. I'm not complaining, just wish there was a place available right now!!

In the meantime, I'm just keeping hydrated. Pathetic when you have to do that when you AREN'T in the sun!!

I have a picture of a cat that belongs to a friend of mine! It's classic. It's clear he isn't happy about his new do!

If I had the energy, I'd put it on here...LOL!

Well, I suppose I can look for it....

As for my cats, I don't think they'll agree with a shaving. Only two of them allow a bath, and they aren't happy campers with that either!

But wasn't that cruel to do to the cat? did the cat suffer or is it actually relieving for the cat to be shaved?

I bet the shaved cat has no issues with fleas and tocks now!

LOL! Funny about the cat.

I do know several groups that excommunicate for shaving a beard off. Strange. The only thing more weird, I suppose, is excommunicating for NOT shaving!

Man oh man, what interesting traditions of men.

Put them in the freezer, that will cool them and preserve them until you move :ursofunny

There is an old joke, how do you make a cat mew?

Stick it in the freezer for three days then run it across a band saw.

MEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWW!!
