From My Perspective
My wife keeps telling me I need to stop looking down on other people...
I keep telling her I can't help it - some of us simply have a higher calling... :thumbsup:thumbsup http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...ysweep/044.jpg http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...ysweep/040.jpg http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...weep/goats.jpg Some of us were born for the High Life! |

Re: From My Perspective
TJJJ, Such is the view from the rooftops. Vertigo is bad... for chimney sweeps.
The third is not me, but I can imagine what he is thinking. "The view is fabulous!" PS Ya know those backyard pools with with privacy fences? Well never mind.... :) |

Re: From My Perspective
I ever share my experience of putting up Christmas lights on my roof? Anyway, here it is again: tried to string them from the ground with a pole and, when needed, a ladder, but there was one peak that I couldn't reach. So I climbed onto the 1st story roof from my 2nd story office window. Seemed easier than using that 6-foot ladder (never mind that I had taller ones - those were way over in the garage!). It was a lot steeper than it looked from the ground! I inched my way over to the spot I needed to attach the lights to, hanging on to the peak. Couldn't reach without letting go. Felt pretty safe, so I let go. Instantly, I start sliding toward the edge and certain death! (Never mind that a 10 foot fall would probably not kill me! :lol) On my way down, I notice a valley to the left, so I scooch scooch scooch that-a-way and plant my foot on the other part of the roof, just in time!
That was 2 years ago. Last Christmas, I didn't bother following the roof line with those lights! |
