I was talking to a ladie from my old church the other day, and she said something that kinda of blew me away.

Now I was in the UPC my whole life, until a couple of years ago. So I know how most feel about others who they say don't have THE TRUTH!

But this ladies kids had LEFT THE CHURCH, to go some where else. Keep in mind that they hadn't changed anything, save a few standards.

She said she told them that if they were not going to OP church. They might as well stay home!!!!!!!!!! Be lost anyway!!!!!!!!

the pastor of an ex-UPC across town says the same thing. Our church is UPC and anyone that leaves his church and goes to ours would be better off going to no church at all

No, Oneness Pentecostals, which make up most of this board, do not feel that way.

However don't all groups claim they have the truth? What group says "We don't have the truth"?

It's a dumb thing to say, but I'm sure it is a sentiment that is found in people from many organizations. I would much rather my kids go to a church where even a portion of the truth was taught. It would mean they were honestly seeking after God. And at least the door would be open to find further truth or to return to truth.

Any "group" that just believes the Bible, has the truth. The Bible IS the truth, it is what man tries to add to it that is the problem. :foottap

It is not just all that man tries to add. It has some to do with what they do with their belief also. They can believe the Bible but they may not live the Bible.
Yes the Bible is truth and you have to believe it but you also have to live it for it to do you any good.
