Have you all ever encountered anyone that always had a word for someone? The Bible tells to perfect that gift, but is this perfecting or trying too hard? Lets see where this one will go...

I measure the "word" someone got for me against what God has spoken to my heart about...if they are not one and the same then I file what they say in file #13, and consider them a bit enthusiastic but WRONG!

I also use the measure of His written Word along with what you have indicated. It seems that this is something that is actually borrowed from the cruisematic movement. Either way, I certainly do not want to play down the ability of God to use someone to give me a word and I will always receive the word from the individual and then measure it as mentioned by Rhoni and as I have said above!:grampa

I had a word for someone once or twice... and a few yrs later someone else gave him the same word :)
