What or who is the anti-christ?
 

I am sure there are many posts on the Anti-Christ, but I was wondering what your thoughts were about the Anti-Christ. Is it a person, system or religion? This is a unique time in our world with everything happening in Iran and North Korea and the unmatchable growth of Islam in America and in the world today.

I've heard a few futurists claim that a future antichrist is going to die, and the spirit of Nero is going to reanimate his body. I prefer to see the "beast" in that scenario as a nation. People choose their beliefs. Others choose their delusion.

I do believe the antichrist/beast will be a man,possibly even devil-possesed. I don't think the spirit of nero will enter him, I've never heard that-pretty far out.

LOL. But seriously. I think Daniel is clear. There will only be 5 worldwide govies. The 4 I just mentioned and then "in the days of those kings" the most high sets up his kingdom. Of course that being JC, (Is 9) "of the increase of his government there will be no end"
His kingdom is still conquering what is left of Rome; it has come, is coming, and shall come.

Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Don't forget this. It isn't just endtimes prophesy that discusses the anti christ.

Actually,it is about endtime prophecy. You seemed to have missed the other scripture that qualifies the time of antiChrist(s).
1Jn 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

The "last times" was 2000 years ago, at least according to John or the Bible, however you want to look at it.
