There are girls in my daughters school who are jealous of her,even from the uppity girls.
But I told not to fret over it.

As they go succeed in college, yes they will have to push themselves. Almost all students get pushed. They get pushed to cut class, rebel, work hard do their own work or any other directions. A graduate almost never regrets being pushed or challenged to crank out great work.

Actually separate from the church, girls that put a lot of energy in sports, music, academics are less likely to get pregnant, marry young and fail at marriage and other unhandy consequences.

If your daughter copes well by being not accepted to the uppity girls, she is far less of a social and sorority candidate in college. That is very good.
