Pastor needs help getting clothes to needy
 

Dearest friends

As many of you know we have a tiny church on the Paraguay boarder and we are working with very poor destitute people. The overseer sent me an e mail asking if in any way our American brothers and sisters could help him. Many of our churches in Brazil have given clothes to take to Paraguay but he needs to rent a u haul and buy hitch to put on his car to carry the many items. Not only food he is taking blankets and sacks of rice. He needs a total of 350 dollars to do this.
I don’t know how to help him because I do not have this because we pay all the gasoline and other expenses and we cannot afford to do it but as we were talking he asked me to write to our American brothers and sisters. I almost hate to do this because I know some people laugh at my letters and make jokes about them however the needs are always so great and overwhelming.
If you cannot help please pray that someone will help these poor people. My hearts bleeds for them. You can even call me to let me know if you are sending anything as the pastor is so desperate. If you do not want to send it to me you may send it direct to him I have no problem with that. Just let me know and I will send you his direct mailing address,
Thank you for caring…I know we all have so many needs…This week we are also sponsoring a missions trip to Bahia helping a group of our ministers get up there.
We are also helping another group travel to a far interior area of Sao Paulo besides the many outreaches we are involved in. Brazil is such a tremendous country… the burden is so heavy on our shoulders. Thank you as you help us help other to find the answer to the question, What must I do to be saved.

Yes, and if it is for this purpose please let me know...that little pastor is so sweet and so concerned about the lost, the poor, the hungry. Thanks to anyone that can help him.

My son called last night and told me this little pastor has everything ready waiting on God to send the funds...my what faith. I too believe I will come back on the forum and tell of God using someone as His channel of help to these poor people. Keep this in your prayers.

we have done more work on the church since that picture...but just wanted all to know it is a real work and a real people I am asking to help.
