Debate Challenge
Some of you that want to argue doctrine have the ability to enter into a formal debate. IF that is indeed your intent then let this be a formal invitation to all. If you want to debate some sort of doctrinal position then let me know.
You will have the chance to not only try to prove someone else's wrong but defend your own |
Re: Debate Challenge
I like the idea of letting threads morph into whatever they end up morphing into.
However, I understand the need for order and it gets old seeing threads get hijacked and dragged down the same muddy paths over and over again. |
Re: Debate Challenge
Anyways...if you feel Apostolic doctrine is wrong and want to prove it...offer a debate challenge on a single topic...maybe Jason or MB will take it up.

Re: Debate Challenge
I would like to see a debate on "3-step" vs. "1-step".

Re: Debate Challenge
I like this a lot. We should nominate a person to represent each side.
Salvation is a great one. But perhaps scaling the topic down is best. For instance, speaking in tongues as evidence of the HG, or more broad, the essentiality of receiving the Spirit. We would have to get the topic just right so it wouldn't go too far off base, which is what happens in our "morphed" threads. |
Re: Debate Challenge
Prax is awesome about keeping the one-on-one debates on topic. The debates follow a formal debate style which makes them easier to keep on track, too.

You know I'm in.:thumbsup
PS-What's up with admin closing the threads discussing the heart of the issue here on AFF? People can post on homosexual, Islamic, Calvinistic, etc. topics and the threads stay open. |
