Obama keeps his promise

:foottapObama keeps his promise::foottap

Obama wasn't lying when he said illegals would not be able to get medical coverage under his ObamaCare plan. His simple fix is to make them all legal first.

BILL GOING THRU CONGRESS RIGHT NOW REGARDING IMMIGRATION.

EVEN CNN IS UPSET ABOUT THIS!

He is going to legalize undocumented immigrants, including those with criminal history's. Thus being done there wont be any illegal immigrant, and since illegal immigration will be obsolete all people on health care will be legal.

Clever, huh?

This is 2007 news. The piece you've posted from CNN's Lou Dobbs program is 2 years old Derech. Also the profane comments from Republican John Boehner about the bill being an expletive are from May 22, 2007. He was discussing the bill with a group of Republicans. He was upset with President Bush. Here's Boehner's direct quote: "I promised the President(George W.) today that I wouldn't say anything bad about ... this (expletive) bill."

If you watch the scroll at the bottom of the screen during the Dobbs piece it talks about gasoline being at an all time high average nationally of $3.22 a gallon.

How can you blame Obama for a bill that was proposed to Congress while GWB was President? Basically the facts of your posts are fiction.

The only "immigration bill" I find in the news is Congress has done away with the "widow penalty." Probably doesn't effect a whole lot of people, but it seems to be a reasonable thing to do.

Derech's earlier post did confuse me. That does appear to be an older deal like Mike says. But then again, Mike's rooting for the 'Hogs... so he's probably not seeing things straight this time of year.

But the President has said several times that he would push for an amnesty bill. Back in April, in June, in August, and in September.

Those first three links came before Joe Wilson's famous outburst on live television back in September. Apparently Joe was paying attention.

Last August, while visiting Mexico, the President called anyone who opposed amnesty for illegal immigrants "demagogues." According to recent polls, he called 75% of all Americans "demagogues."

Yet he refuses to say what he posted is FALSE. He then says

It doesn't matter if it is true or not just blame Obama any way.

I was not the originator of this. I was just pointing out that even though obama wasn't president, there might could still be fault found in him if he supported that bill in the senate. I don't know if he did. I am not conservative either. I didn't vote in the last election, but I'm starting to think we'd get a whole lot less idiots in the white house if people realized that when they weren't really read up on the issues they shouldn't vote either. The "it's your obligation to vote" stuff is one of the dumbest things I've heard and is only good at motivating politicians to use mass propaganda to get elected. If they convince everyone they should vote and then sway those voters just a little more than their opponent they will win the election. Politics today doesn't worry about who actually has the better platform and ideas, it is about who can convince a few more people to vote your way. It is about convincing those people with as little focus on your ideas as possible. It's hard for your ideas to be torn down before the election if ya don't state them very in depth. And both parties are guilty of this.
