That's awesome!

(But those highlighted things in the text are weird. Hovering over "church", e.g., I get an ad for Austin Infusion Center -- Outpatient IV Infusion Center Comfortable and Convenient. Tempe gives me one for Zax Pints And Plates, in Austin.)

LOL. That's just you!

The ad I get from the newspaper's "context" driven keywords are:
"Church": an ad for a local (to me) ballet production of Don Quixote.

"Community Service:" Folk, Roots and Accoustic Concerts

So much for "context!"

I'm not much good at starting threads... but I saw this news clipping on an unnamed "social networking" site and thought the story was pretty cool. The church that is mentioned is of the Apostolic Faith tradition and baptizes in Jesus' name.

There was a movie (I think it was the one with a computer that predicted crimes so the cops could make arrests before it happened) that had displays that recognized you as you walked by, and customized ads for you. "Hey, Timmy, check out the sale at Twin Liquors! Half price tequila, today only!"

It is cool! It's an awesome thread! And my side-tracking of it is cool, too! :thumbsup

Awesome!

Young people need to know how to "give up" and this is a great way to teach them while helping others!

I remember when the Roams were in Lancaster, Ohio. I visited their church several times. Never knew they had come here to Phoenix.

Jim Roam passed away a while back. His wife Sharon is still listed as "staff" at the church.
