Medicare Fraud, why Obamacare won't work

The reason medicare has such a low overhead compared to the private sector is that they literally have no administration to control costs and fraud like the private insurers do. Good luck pulling this kinda stuff on Humana or United Healthcare.

So next time you see someone on TV saying Medicare is "cheaper" because it doesnt have those nasty profits or overhead... this is what you get when you put slow moving and under-staffed beaucrats in charge of checking on medical fraud.

If Obama says there is so much fraud in medicare, why did he not tackle it?

Healthinsurance companies have software to run to catch fraud patterns. It is a start. If people had to pay for healthcare out of their pocket with no insurance, they would ask questions.

80/20 traditional insurance would cure the problems of overspending overnight along with tort reform for pain and suffering damages.
