Greatest Thread Ever?
What, in your mind, is the greatest thread in the history of AFF?
Doesn't have to be measured by number of posts, more by quality or sheer likeability (is that a word?). |
Re: Greatest Thread Ever?
There are lots of great threads but I this one came to mind first.

From the Fellowship Hall...If the numbers are right...
By number of replies: We Put Our Christmas Tree Up! By number of views: Favorite Movie of All Time Gabby's was actually first, but I didn't count it...mostly cuz it was just a 'chat' thread. :blah |
Re: Greatest Thread Ever?
One of my favorites was on the old FCF - Three Things. It was good to read post uplifting the posters.
There was another one I really enjoyed but I will have to search for the title of it. |
Re: Greatest Thread Ever?
The greatest thread would have to be the the thread the had the most impact in setting the tone at AFF in its nascent stages. It was authored about 2 weeks after this site 's launch by CS - The PCI Counterfeits thread
http://www.apostolicfriendsforum.com...read.php?t=554 was one of the longest Fellowship Hall threads for quite some time, has many of the old NFCF/FCF posters pitted against some of the newbies and was/ can be construed as an attempt to "mark their territory" by the conservative posters. The conversations between the PCI vs. PAJC factions raged after this thread and other holiness threads (including Pastor Poster's infamous and inflammatory "spiritual holocaust" remark) eventually unnerved many of them to the point that they could not stand to fellowship at AFF any longer. There are several other turning point threads that perhaps I can post later. Some of them are no longer in the Fellowship Hall having been buried, locked or pruned for reasons "unknown". |
