Can You "Smell" Like Worship?

I just listened to an old UPC recording about worship just because I felt like it. In it, the preacher is saying that if you worship, you will have an "aroma" of worship about you that other people will notice. It sounds good in theory, but I am wondering about actual scripture for this. Does it say anywhere in scripture that if you worship, you will have an "aroma" that other people will notice and want?

No, though people may indeed be attracted to any generally happy, satisfied, self confident individual that loves others and appears to have an answer to how others can experience similar emotions and maintain similar attributes more consistently (without drugs). And if a person truly worships God, they should have these attributes, to some degree, consistently in their lives, right? :heart

At least it would indicate active worshiping... either that or bad hygiene from the congregation. :gotcha

It actually seemed to be a way to "win souls"....people would smell the aroma and be drawn to you. Seemed like a stretch.

Although the B.O. does not.:ursofunny

:ursofunny:ursofunnyOh my, the things we feel the need to say. "Aroma". That's funny.

But I've heard there was always an aroma at Grateful Dead concerts.
