It's All Down Hill From Here
Since the sentiment I hear over and over again is that the season that has just passed is "the most wonderful time of the year"...
It is, apparently, all down hill from here. |

To Me the most wonderful time of the year is the end of May- the weather is warm, school is out (or almost out) and there is so much to do!!! |

The glass is half full. Always.
It's always half full because no one brought a straw. |
Re: It's All Down Hill From Here
As much as I enjoy the build-up to Christmas and then Christmas itself, I honestly think I enjoy this time between Christmas and New Year's Eve much more!!
I take this week off every year - have for 25 years now. That means that the day after Christmas and then all the way to New Year's I don't have to get out of bed in the morning until I really want to. And if I decide that I want to do nothing all day except lay in a chair and read, I can do that. I don't do any more than necessary in my house this week - so don't come visit this week! We eat left-overs and then whatever I can make quick and easy. UNLESS I really get inspired and feel like spending half a day cooking. And even then, I'm free to do it. This is a vacation at home! I love it! |

I went and bought a clawfoot tub from a guy an hour away the other day. It won't be long and we will have a 2nd bathroom. YEAH!!! |
