David Huff will be in the Dayton, Ohio area for a concert Sunday morning January 17th at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Fellowship Church.

The church is located at 85 Quick Road, New Carlisle, OH 45344

there was another concert scheduled nearby for Sunday night but it has been cancelled. I don't know if it will be rescheduled some place else.

Sam, if you go and talk to him, tell him Chuck Tatum said hello.

Cool, thanks Sam.

I was looking at the flyer and followed the URL to http://gettingtoknowjesus.net/ . There it says:

"God's Plan for Redemption:
(Acts 2:21)
...
When and where is sin remitted? At the Cross.
His death on the Cross is proof that sin is remitted.
Paul says, “Because anyone who has died has been freed from sin.” (Rom 6:7).

If the Bible states that Jesus’ death on the Cross is the sacrifice for our sins;
if it says He died to our sins only once; and if it says He could not be held by death, but is raised to give us life and salvation, then, we can safely
say that our sins imputed to Jesus on the Cross were cleansed,
taken away or paid for there and His resurrection testifies it is so!"

I thought that was pretty cool too. Then, I looked at their "Products" page and saw a blurb endorsing one of their books:

"Lessons from the Pew
“If you enjoy a good read, a read which reflects upon the moral and spiritual high ground, then Lessons from the Pew is for you. From the Biblical stories of people like Sarah and Abraham, to the intriguing accounts of far away customs, these nuggets of truth will inform and inspire. Each chapter is like another spiritual diamond for the treasure chest of your mind and soul. Read with sincere contemplation, open your mind and your heart, and Lessons from the Pew will bless you.”

-Rev. Talmadge L. French
The Rock Church, San Diego, CA"

Given the clearly "One Stepper" point of view expressed by these nice folks, I'm wondering about the timing and circumstances of that endorsement. It might help to illuminate other things.

Wish I could be there for the concert.

The Getting to Know Jesus site is run by Joe Plunk who lives in Dayton, OH. He used to be a UPC three stepper but has "seen the light." When he wrote the book endorsed by Talmadge French he was a three stepper.
