We are getting sleet/freezing rain now - - hopefully changing to snow by noon.

They are predicting 3-6 inches of snow which is HUGE for the south.

Just praying it changes to snow quickly to keep the damage of freezing rain down to a minimum.

Really sleeting here and I can see a layer on ice on everything outside. I haven't tried to go anywhere, but I have an appointment this afternoon that I really need to keep. Not sure what it will be like by 2 pm though.

Are you at home or at work? We were supposed to go to Memphis tonight and spend the night. I have a bed being delivered tomorrow in Cordova.

Rainy and chilly. I'm enjoying a cup of coffee, warm and dry inside, thankfully. :)

Sleeting like crazy here. Sidewalk & driveway are beginning to ice over.

Hopefully we will get mostly snow-- but where I am is right on the dividing line of the snow/ice based on what they are showing on Channel 3. I'm just praying that we end up with more snow than ice.

wet and cold. about 39 and its been raining since mid afternoon yesterday.

supposed to get colder as the day progresses and may sleet some.

I'm at home - I had taken a vacation day because Tarah was coming down, but not now since we'll probably end up going to St. Louis this weekend.

You might need to reschedule the bed delivery.

It was freezing rain, sleet and now it's a mixture of sleet and snow. The quicker it turns to snow the better off we'll be and hopefully, not lose power from ice.

know ya'll are anxious to get things set up, but this probably won't be a good weekend for it!!!!! it's snowing big time in Oakland right now!!!

They are calling for a dumptruck load of snow today here in East TN.

Close to 70 (68 or 69) for a high today.... About 50 outside right now. Sunny.

Sleet was short lived. Thank God for that! It's all snow here now..... and the ground is already getting covered.
