I was Privileged to Meet Mother Alvear Tonight
 

Bishop & Mother Alvear, along with their daughter, son in law and granddaughter, were with us in service tonight. What a wonderful, sweet Christian couple! Their love for the people of God, and their love/burden for the work of bring the Gospel to the world is genuine. It makes me want to drop everything and leave tomorrow for Brazil....and then the Philippines.....and then........

It was truly an honor to meet them both! I pray that the Lord grants them many more years of health and strength.

I have never met Sis. Alvear, but from the spirit of her posts I can tell she is blessed and highly favored of God. I don't know if I've ever witnessed a more Christian attitude and spirit! I'm hoping that some rubs off on me! :)

I have to agree. I think Sis A. is the BEST christian on this forum and maybe the best Christian I ever met. She will probably be embarrassed by that, but that's what I think.

Trust me, they are the same in person as she is on here! I loved staying in their home; they are true Christians.

Thank you sweet folks for such kind words...my greatest desire is to be a christian...I deeply love YOU FOLKS and you are an inspiration to me.

Last night we had a sweet service where we showed our powerpoint presentation. I always enjoy talking about missions.

The pastor last night has preached for our son...an awesome man with an awesome church.
