The false teachers are coming, the false teachers are coming!!!!

I think Pentecost is doing just fine, as is. I think your crusade against LS is having zero effect. And I think you should focus on the lost instead of criticizing the upc. jmho

With the Magic Hair and LS the UPC isn't having much of an impact on winning the lost. A little leaven leavens the whole lump

I say we trade LS for 3 baptismal tanks and an alter boy

I'm an elder here.

I'm old enough to remember Paul Revere and the Raiders.

Do we want to go back to this?

I read this and an immediate response came to mind. But rather than being banned for all eternity, I'll just keep my mouth shut. :D

Alexandria is not too far from Katy.
Katy needs more churches that preach the truth without the legalism, sacramentalism or showmanship.

I live pretty close to "sacramentalism". It's our state capitol.

You know, normally I get reeeeeeaaaaalllly irritated at the Hank Hannagraaf-types that want to cast doubt on everyone. But Lee Stoneking is an easy call. He wouldn't pass anyone's test for sound theology.

And seriously, how does he keep getting a free pass from the conference groups? The UPC is nearly two decades in my rear view mirror so I have no dog in the fight, but why? Why is he continually the main-speaking-dude at UPC conferences? I don't understand it.

Personally, I think such toleration may exist because there is a market for anyone that helps despotic, biblically untrained pastors lord over their flocks by reinforcing their extrabiblical teachings so as to maintain their gravy trains. The other option is to get a full time job or, without a radicalized identity, become another church in town with a nondescript man of the cloth.

I think you're right.
