It looks like this fire was taken care of pretty quickly based on these pics.

It was, Randy. We got out quickly. The response from our volunteer fire dept. was so fast. We live 3 miles out of town, they were here in less than 8 minutes. When we call 911 it goes to the county, then they transfer us to the city.

I will admit I panicked for about 2 minutes after I got outside and was talking to the 911 operator. My DIL took the phone and my son went up to the highway to meet them, our driveway was very difficult for them but they made it. One of the fire trucks was brand new, they did a great job of containing the fire. We have a lot of water damage. UGH!!!

But we are so grateful to still have a house, and that we are all safe.

I posted after you posted the first few pics and didn't see all the rest and didn't know how gutted everything was. But it still looks like the basic frame is largely undamaged which means after a little new drywall, paint, carpeting and/or wood/tile, you will have a new house!

I agree with Randy. Hopefully since the frame is undamaged it won't be long or expensive to repair. Hope you had good insurance

I am sorry this happened Cindy, but am thankful it wasn't worse!

I pray that you get a blessing in the Reno!

We are so grateful really. This is an old house and it could have been much worse. Some supplies already bought, sheet rock and stuff like that. Thankfully we have hard working kids and in laws with lots of experience.

The house is paid for, but no insurance. Just paid our last vehicle off a few days ago. The Lord is good to us, so we can't complain. Really the only loss for me is the OLD carpet......which was free. It use to be in a church...:)

Don't use sheet rock made in China they are having problems with it.
