Business through the Eyes of Faith--homework
This is a homework assignment for a college class:
A. Should widows and orphans be a budget item for a business? B. Do you agree that co-signing in business and in personal situations is necessary and Biblically acceptable? C. Do you think there are times in which it is ok to sue another person that goes to church with you? |

B: It depends. I would co-sign with my wife or a child or even a sibling or parent, but would be VERY hesitant to do it with a friend and NOT simply someone "you know from from church". C: Under certain circumstances, once ALL other avenues have been exhausted within the church (AND assuming the perp is capable of paying you back and just not willing), yes. |

On the other hand, if two people are just bickering or are in dispute over a matter, take that to the church first-and I don't mean by gossiping about the other person!! :foottap |

Re: Business through the Eyes of Faith--homework
Some educational institutions handle things themselves, too. Just the other day, I heard a story of a female college freshman who was raped by another student, and apparently law enforcement was never brought in. It was handled as a disciplinary matter, by university staff, and it seems that this is a common practice at universities. The boy was suspended for the summer session, which was later extended for the next school year. (She quit and went to another school in Chicago. So did he. Very weird.)
