Brazil

Last night, we had a banquet for the Christian Hospitality Network, which is the group I went to Brazil with. It was so much fun seeing everyone again! This year we are hopefully going to Turkey, and we will get to visit Ephesus. I really hope I get to go.

They showed the video last night of the trip. There were four testimonies from missionaries in Brazil/Paraguay and I was a puddle of tears by the time it was over. Wow! Incredible people of God doing work in places that most of us wouldn't want to be. One man had been shot by the leaders of the drug cartel in his city, while he was standing in the door of his church. He's now a paraplegic, but he chose to go back on the field to do what God called him to do. I don't think there was a dry eye in the place last night. There were about a 100 pastors and business men here from the E. TN area - hopefully we raised a lot of money for the cause.

Sis. Alvear - I will have to get you a copy of the DVD. Amazing!! You will enjoy seeing these other missionaries from your area.

Wow that is incredible! I would love to see this video. Any chance of them putting it on you tube for others to see?

Sherri..I think I know who you were talking about...was that Missionary John Leonard?

What great sacrifices are made by many missionaries. You telling about Eddie's dad really blessed Ednei and Dirlei...Thank you for your love for missionaries. I told thatstory here in the states...

Thank you for caring for others that care...
