Presbyterian Church

Anyone know where they stand in terms of the way to salvation, or mode of baptism? There is one down the street from me and I have always been curious about them. I have read some on their official site, but don't see that anywhere. Thanks in advance.

Nine or ten Presbyterian denoms in the United States. Think they are mostly calvinistic. Some Presbyterian Church U.S.A. are "evangelical" and some are "charismatic".

Depends on which denomination of Presbyterians.

Some (PCUSA) are very liberal; others denoms like PCA and OPC and independents are usually much more conservative and orthodox. Presbyterians are Trinitarians, believe in salvation by faith alone, by grace alone, through Christ alone.....Calvinistic, practice infant baptism, liturgical worship.

Some well known Presbyterian evangelical leaders are: Dr. D. James Kennedy, Dr. R.C. Sproul, Ligon Duncan, etc. I have a lot of respect for certain Presbyterians.

I am not sure. I know there are Presbyterians and reformed Presbyterians, and then other branch offs, but I am not sure what they are.

Yellow pages? What is this strange book ye speak of. lol

Going to Yellowbook.com it just lists them as * Presbyterian Church. On their website, they have the Presbyterian Church USA logo, a blue cross with red flames at the bottom on a white background.

I guess I could just always go there a few times and find out, lol.

Visited a PCUSA. Was more evangelical with charismatic undertones. But, that's the typical church in California. Lol.

Cool, I shall look into that page. I actually went to that site, but couldn't find out about how they view salvation and baptism. I might have overlooked it, I shall look again.
