I guess I don't see the difference. Those who claim to be "Apostolic" are not any more saved than the rest of Christendom.

Apostolic- following the Apostles' doctrine.

If you are not Apostolic you are not saved.

Does that make you "better"?

No, just means you won't burn in hell like you deserve.

Perhaps I'll clear it up.

Does belonging to an organization like the UPC or WPF or any other 'Acts 2:38' org make you superior to those who are Baptist, Methodist, Assemblies of God, or just plain ol' nondenominational?

Better in what way?

I think an argument could be made that the "serious" Apostolic is closer to God than the "serious" Methodist, Catholic, Baptist, etc.

In some ways, a carnal Apostolic is worst than his carnal counterpart, in that we usually know more and simply choose to be spiritually lazy, triffling, living off of the welfare of someone else's preaching, praying and spirituality.

See post above, if you are not Apostolic you are not saved.

If you ARE saved why would you be in one of those denominations?

Wow. I'm guessing that your answer is a Yes on this issue, then. Thanks so much for the input. :thumbsup

Because I don't like the way your church smells....

Maybe someone else can help me think of another reason.

Nonsense.

One is saved by placing their faith in Jesus Christ, not by jumping through a bunch of hoops.
