I Need Song Lyrics, Please!
I need the song lyrics to "Jesus. We're Depending On You". Brooklyn Tab recorded it, and I thought I had the CD but, figures when I need it I cannot find it. I really only need part of the 2nd verse, I think I have the rest. Maybe someone's memory will be jogged so you can help me. Thanks. Here is what I have so far
Jesus, We're Depending On You 1. When they came to the water they didn't know what to do There was no one to help them, couldn't see their way thru Then Lord, You rolled the waters and they walked right on thru Oh Jesus, we're depending on You. Cho. Jesus, we're depending on You Jesus, we're depending on You Jesus, we're depending on You We're depending on You to see us thru 2. When our faith's tried by fire You know that it's true The devil's a liar Any help would be appreciated!:ty2 :ty2 :ty2 |

I could hear Hector Soto singing this in my head...well, not really in my head, but you know what I mean! So I went digging through my cd's and sure enough...this was on the 1985 NMMC album...
Verse 1 When they came to the water They didn't know what to do No one to help them Couldn't see their way through Lord you moved the waters and they walked right on by Oh Jesus, we're depending on You Verse 2 Now when my faith is tried by fire I still know that it's true Cause Satan is a liar and there's not much he can do He may try to stop us But I know You'll see us through Oh Jesus, we're depending on You That's what he was singing on the cd....it may vary a bit but that's basically it! |

We have a pretty primitive choir right now. I am trying to teach them parts, and such but a lot of them are stuggling to stay on key. But the thing I am instilling them is to make sure they worship. I want them to be on key but more than that I want the annointing. The rest will come with time. If they worship God and He moves thru the song, I don't care if they don't hit one note right. That having been said, as much as I love harmony and getting the notes to sound right I an willing to sacrifice that for a real move of God, if I have too. I know that you don't have to because you can have both, good sound and annointing, and what a blessing that is when you do have both! As for right now, I am planning on tearing the song up! |
I used to sing in the choir, and we could sing it on down too!!
