Are we making a real difference in the world by having loose borders?

I don't think we have at all. There is too much bribery and murder going on. You can't even trust the Border Patrol.

I think it is very selfish for 3rd to 5th generation European immigrants to complain about immigration problems in the US and to try to close the border between Latin America and the U.S.

as was just stated, how do you think your relatives got here?

I don't know if you all heard, but San Francisco and the bay area has declared itself a Pro illegal immigrant Zone. The mayor of SF told the city to rebel against the federal laws regarding imigration.
